Giving a custom cabinetry studio a website that makes people stop and look
Kitch Cabinetry is a custom kitchen and cabinetry design studio based in Austin, Texas. They do exceptional physical work — but with no website to show for it, that work was invisible to the homeowners who needed to find them. WebRay designed and built their first proper website from scratch on Framer. The brief was clear from the start: minimal, modern, and visually compelling enough that visitors would want to explore every page.

Challenges
Beautiful craft with nowhere to show it
Kitch had been growing through word of mouth, which works — until it doesn't. Without a website, every new client had to take someone else's word for the quality of the work. For a business where homeowners are making high-spend, high-trust decisions about their home, that gap was costly. The challenge wasn't just building a website. It was creating a digital experience that could do what a showroom visit does — communicate craftsmanship, build confidence, and make it easy to take the next step. All of that, in a design that stayed minimal and never got in the way of the work itself.

Approach
Let the work lead. Design around it.
The design direction was built around one principle — the photography is the hero, everything else supports it. Kitch provided project photographs from their completed work and we sourced additional imagery that matched the same mood, tone, and visual language, so the site felt cohesive from page to page. We kept the layout generous and restrained — clean white space, precise typography, and a structure that guides homeowners naturally from inspiration through to getting in touch. The first draft landed well. The client made a few section adjustments to fit their preferences but the overall direction was approved immediately, which is usually a sign the design was solving the right problem from the start.

Results
The final site gives Kitch a digital presence that matches the quality of their physical work for the first time. Homeowners can now browse completed projects, get a clear sense of the studio's style and standard, and reach out with confidence — all without a phone call or a referral. The minimal, visually led design does exactly what it was built to do: it makes people stop, look closer, and go deeper. For a B2C business where first impressions drive decisions, that's the most valuable thing a website can be.
A website homeowners actually want to spend time on
