Turning a social media agency's course launch into a high-converting website experience
Piggyback is a German social media agency helping startups and scale-ups grow through content-led marketing. With over a decade of experience and a strong client roster, they know exactly what good looks like — which makes building for them a different kind of challenge. WebRay came on board to develop their Framer website for a focused course launch campaign, bringing UX strategy, bilingual functionality, and conversion thinking to a project where every detail mattered.

Challenges
Building for an audience that sees through bad websites instantly
A social media agency's website is held to a different standard. Their clients and prospects are marketers — people who evaluate credibility, clarity, and conversion quality for a living. The existing website was incomplete and not structured around the launch campaign's core goal — generating leads and course sales. On top of that, the site needed to serve both English and German-speaking audiences seamlessly, without the bilingual functionality feeling like an afterthought. The bar was high and there was no room for a website that looked almost right.

Approach
Development with a conversion strategy built in
WebRay took the existing brand guidelines and design direction and rebuilt the development around one clear objective — make the course launch convert. That meant reworking the UX flow to guide visitors toward the right actions, building purposeful interactions that supported the user journey rather than decorating it, and integrating German language support cleanly throughout. We ran proper AB testing to validate the key decisions before launch, going through a focused back and forth with the Piggyback team to refine the details until everything was working as intended. Creative freedom on the development and UX side meant we could move quickly and make the right calls without unnecessary friction.

Results
The final site launched on time, performed well against the campaign goals, and gave Piggyback a website that finally matched the quality and credibility of the work they sell. The client was happy with the outcome and committed to future collaboration for further development work. For WebRay, it was a reminder that development done with genuine UX thinking is its own form of design — and that the difference between a website that almost works and one that actually converts is usually in the details.
A launch-ready website that earned a promise of more
